Los Corporatos, a dynamic musical duo featuring Alexandra and Alexey, is renowned for their multicultural performances and infectious energy. Originally from Russia and now based in the Czech Republic, they perform a rich international repertoire that resonates with audiences of all backgrounds.
For an upcoming free concert, Los Corporatos wanted to distribute e-tickets professionally to track attendees. Since their event is free of charge, they sought a cost-effective solution that would integrate with their existing online brand and offer a smooth experience for fans.
The aim was to establish a scalable, branded ticketing system that could transition to paid events in the future.
Objective
The project goals were to:
- Establish a branded, cost-effective system for distributing free e-tickets.
- Integrate with a custom domain to give Los Corporatos a cohesive online brand.
- Ensure flexibility for scaling to paid ticketing if desired in the future.
Solution
After exploring several options, we selected Shopify combined with the Evey - Events and Tickets app. Evey offered a no-cost, no-code ticketing solution for free events, with future options to manage paid ticketing if needed. Since this was a free concert, we hosted the setup on a Shopify development store, meaning Los Corporatos avoided any monthly fees, with the custom domain being their only initial expense.

Alex shared initial ideas for the brand’s color palette, which I expanded upon by suggesting complementary font types and creating essential visual elements. This included a custom logo, product images, and collages to enhance the site’s aesthetic and create a strong, professional online presence. -
Domain Setup and Ticketing Solution
I recommended purchasing a custom domain to solidify their brand identity, and once the domain was acquired, I set it up on the Shopify store. Then, we selected the Evey - Events and Tickets app, which offered a range of useful features:
- QR Codes for easy check-ins: Tickets were available as PDFs or Apple Wallet passes, with QR codes for easy scanning at the entrance.
- Centralized Attendee Tracking: Evey’s app enabled Los Corporatos to monitor attendees with no effort.
- Personalized Communication: Evey’s email tool allowed for direct communication with attendees, adding a personal touch to their event.

Designing a Professional Landing Page
Using a free Shopify theme Ride, I developed a landing page on loscorporatos.com. This served as the concert’s central hub, allowing fans to register, view event details, and receive e-tickets. The page incorporated all visual elements to ensure a consistent and inviting brand experience. -
Testing and Launch
We thoroughly tested the registration flow and QR code functionality for ticket scanning. Once all systems were confirmed, the page went live, and fans were able to easily register while Los Corporatos could monitor attendance in real time.
Outcome
